I have worked with young people while being a young man, husband, father and now as a grandfather… and I absolutely love what I do.

Encouraging, equipping and supporting young people to become the best version of themselves is extremely rewarding. Youth work is constantly changing and being involved in it keeps you on your toes. Change is important because if we don’t change then nothing around us will.

I am married to Sharron and toghter we have three grown up children and five grandchildren. I am an avid supporter of Sheffield UTD, and I love music, skateboarding (I don’t bounce anymore when falling off) and the creative arts. It’s a real joy and privilege to be working with the team here at the Horbury Breakthrough Youth Project.
